Dalian Airport trade volume, value up 7pc in first nine months

DURING the first nine months of this year, foreign trade handled by northeast China's Dalian Airport increased 7 per cent year on year to 35,929 tons. Value of this trade rose 6.7 per cent to US$2.4 billion. Both the volume and value have set new records, Logistics Week reported.
Imports grew 3.6 per cent to 12,753 tons with a 7 per cent higher value of $1.3 billion. Exports rose 9 per cent to 23,176 tons. Export value went up 6 per cent to $1.1 billion.
