Global shipping line OOCL has announced the establishment of a new office in Karachi, Pakistan. The opening of the new office follows the termination of its current agent, Yaaseen Shipping Lines.

"We appreciate the long standing relationship with Yaaseen Shipping Lines who has assisted in building up OOCL's profile in Pakistan market for the past 24 years.

The company said that the establishment of the new office would enhance OOCL's Global Network and development in Middle East and Subcontinent market and would provide OOCL's customers with a link to world trade.

"The OOCL Pakistan office is part of our extensive enhancement of the whole region," said Mr SC Chan, Managing Director of the Straits and South West Asia Region of OOCL.
