OOCL Logistics upgrades web site
POSTED: 9:43 a.m. EDT, May 10,2007
OOCL Logistics says it has improved its web site by adding several new features and switching to a "clean and contemporary" design.

The e-services provided by the portal include MyPilot, MyPodium, Vendor Podium and shipment tracking.

The company said the objective of upgrading the web site, which can be found at www.oocllogistics.com, is to provide customers with increased visibility and control in managing their supply chains.

The new OOCL Logistics web site enables first-time users to click on the local site for their home country to access local and international news and information that is particular to their specific needs and requirements. The next time customers call in, they will be directed to their country site. All customer inquiries are automatically relayed to national and regional coordinators and customer service units for processing and response.

Announcement pages have been improved in all regional and country sites to offer details on local services, terminal and facility information, and operational restrictions.
