ICTSI names officers for Ecuadorian, Brazilian units

International Container Terminal Services Inc (ICTSI) recently announced the appointments of Luis Ernesto Cao as CEO of its unit Contecon Guayaquil SA (CGSA) and Carlos Roberto Miranda Filho as CFO another of the group's subsidiaries, Tecon Suape SA (TSSA).

Mr Cao has been with the ICTSI Group for 13 years. Before his recent appointment, he had been TSSA's CFO since 2001 having been CFO of Puerto Rosario SA in Rosario, Argentina from 1998 to 2001.

Mr Cao, an Agentinian, who graduated in accounting from the University of Buenos Aires in 1988, served with various companies in Argentina including Price Waterhouse, Standard Electric Argentina and Buenos Aires Container Terminal Services SA.

Mr Miranda, a Brazilian, joined TSSA in 2001 as accounting analyst, and was appointed supervisor in 2003, and was designated financial and administrative manager from 2005 to 2007.

Having graduated in accounting from the Catholic University of Pernambuco in 2001, he went on to a post graduate degree in accounting and controllership from the Federal University of Pernambuco.

ICTSI is a leading developer in international container terminal operations. Headquartered in the Philippines, runs terminals on six continents.
