JCtrans: Hello, Mr. Mohammad Saleem. Firstly, will you please make a brief introduction of PCA CARGO PVT LTD.?
Mr. Mohammad Saleem: Well! We have a long history in freight forwarding since 1978 when my elder brother who started this company back in 1991. He has served this profession a lot before lauching of PCA.Currently we are celebrating 20th year of our establishment in Nov 2011. Our company is now a matured and has strong footing in the local and international market.
JCtrans: We know PCA CARGO's services cover all types of international/local shipments. Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?
Mr. Mohammad Saleem: Our range of services is multiple from freight forwarding to logistics and project handling. Now we are shifting our expertise from conventional forwarding to specialised logistics services and already entered into project handling, perishable, DGR and vessel/air chartering.
JCtrans: PCA CARGO also takes great effort to develop the international market. Would you please talk about what is your advantage of overseas business? Or what is your strategy to explore the overseas market?
Mr. Mohammad Saleem: Within the establishment of our compnay back in 1991, keeping in view of international marketing, we started international traveling to explore the international market to enhance our control on routed busienss. We always keep moving in the global market by attending freight and other trade exhibitions, which helped us to make connections with the global market and now we are getting return from it.
Now we have strong edge on our competitors as we have strong overseas parteners in every corner of the world.
JCtrans: Would you please talk about the current logistics industry? Are there any advantages or problems?
Mr. Mohammad Saleem: There are certain areas where industry have some set backs due to recent slump in the international market, especially in Europe/USA but over all logistics industry is always growing and looks to me stable.
JCtrans: Finally, will you please talk about the future development of PCA CARGO PVT LTD.?
Mr. Mohammad Saleem: We always keep changing our polciies with the passage of time to strengthen ourselves. Recently we have attended Transport Exhibition. And also we are planing to formally attend the Trade Exhibitions with our official booth so as to shift our current policy from contacting forwarders to consignee. |
