JCtrans: Hello, Mrs. Olga Zerkalova. We know on October 19th-21st, 2011, there will be held the International Black Sea Transport Forum which unites several events. So will you please make a brief introduction of that?
Mrs. Olga Zerkalova: The International Black Sea Transport Forum is one of the biggest logistics events in Ukraine and in Eastern Europe. It unites such exhibitions as international exhibition on transport and logistics 'TransUkraine 2011', and also some specialized exhibitions: 'Commercial and municipal transport 2011', 'TransRail Ukraine 2011','Warehouse Technologies 2011' and the conference on transport and logistics "Transit potential of Ukraine. Effective infrastructure and logistics on transport in South-East European countries".
JCtrans: How do these events benefit the industry?
Mrs. Olga Zerkalova: Transport complex development is one of the most important directions of Ukrainian economy and economies of any other countries. Our main aim is to give possibility for transport companies, ports and terminals to find new contacts, to prepare conditions for signing mutualy-beneficial contracts. Participation in the work of the Forum lets exponents/ visitors and delegates of the conference find new business partners, decide perspective directions of their business.
Owners and directors of companies, commercial and logistics directors, supervisors and specialists of distributor, trade, and industrial enterprises; supervisors and specialists of warehouse businesses; supervisors and specialists of transport services and enterprises; logistics operators; realtors and leaseholders are invited to the trade show.
JCtrans: Which is the main part of this forum? Or are there any differences in these events?
Mrs. Olga Zerkalova: I would like to notice that our ehixbition "TransUkraine" is the eldest transport exhibition in Ukraine and it is widely known as a brand in Europe. Some years ago sectors of railway transport, warehousing, commercial and municipal transport were a part of TransUkraine. Due to the exhibition development we come to conclusion that it is necessary to select them as separate exhibitions. It was dictated by our participants and visitors. Besides, we try to invite visitors to the booth of every our participants to be sure that their participation has a success. For this purpose we have a directory of more than 50,000 companies.
JCtrans: How do you see the logistics sector development in Ukraine Nowadays?
Mrs. Olga Zerkalova: Analytics of the market provide positive direction of development for logistical sector of Ukraine, mentioning that its turnover in Ukraine is increasing. Experts tell about stabilization of the market in the nearest future and predict the turnover increase from 5% to 12%. Historically Ukraine is a transit country and connects East with Western Europe. Three of seven transport corridors go through Ukraine and allow making functions of a very important part in the logistics transport chain. Nowadays most of companies are oriented on provision of logistic services by their own means.
JCtrans: What is International Black Sea Transport Forum aims for the future? Mrs. Olga Zerkalova: The aim of the International Black Sea Transport Forum is to provide the most complete idea of the latest technologies, means of management and control in trade, accounting and control systems to specialists of distributor, trade, manufacturing enterprises, and warehouse and transport companies to allow them considerably reducing the company's expenses, optimize material, information, and financial flows. |
