JCtrans: Hello, Jessica. Firstly, will you please make a brief introduction of the 13th Annual European Supply Chain & Logistics Summit 2011?
Ms. Jessica Archer: European Supply Chain & Logistics has been running for 13 years now and it is one of the largest events of this type in Europe at the moment. It is a very senior level event attended by VIPs and Directors of the supply chain from all major brands in Europe. This year we anticipate having over 500 senior executives. The Summit consists of 3 days of presentations, exhibition and Supply Chain Distinction Awards Ceremony on the 15th June.

Ms. Jessica Archer: Logistics sector is currently facing several challenges due to an increasingly volatile market. The industry is trying to develop more adaptive strategies in order to be able to respond proactively to unforeseen events.
JCtrans: What are Supply Chain & Logistics Summit aims for the future?
Ms. Jessica Archer: We are currently expanding into new geographical regions. We are already running a very successful American version of this event and next year we are launching an inaugural event in Singapore. |
