Shanghai to build 10 expressways linking Yangtze valley cities

Shanghai will boost construction of expressways linking its neighbours in the Yangtze River Delta and there will be 10 expressways with 60 lanes from Shanghai to Jiangsu and Zhejiang by 2020, Xinhua reported.

The 10 expressways include six to Jiangsu with totalling 38 lanes and four to Zhejiang with 22 lanes, the report said.

Currently Shanghai has had three expressways to Zhejiang, including A4, A8 and A7. The fourth expressway to Zhejiang is under construction.
