The fourth annual China 3PL Summit will be held from June 16-18, 2008 in Shanghai.
The organisers of the event, eyefortransport.com/china, said the summit is expected to bring together more than 150 senior executives to assess 3PL strategies for the China market.
"This is not a trade show or extensive exhibition format. Instead, the 3PL summit is a senior level conference with industry-led sessions and a strong emphasis on open discussion, real-life examples and opportunities to network in a more informal environment,' a company statement said.
So far members that have agreed to participate in the event include the director of China Post Logistics who will assess the evolution of logistics in China; the senior vice president of Schneider Logistics who will analyse strategy to stay ahead of the competition; the vice president of JHJ International (JV with YRC Logistics) on mergers and acquisitions post-integration; and the CEO of Maersk Logistics who will examine green supply chain initiatives.
