Global transportation giant UPS has appointed Mike Horman as its new director of sales for central Florida.

Mr Horman will direct all sales and marketing activities between Orlando and Tampa, a company statement said.

In his previous role for the company, the 22-year UPS veteran served as the director of sales for the Prairie Mountain District, which covers the states of Nebraska, South and North Dakota and Montana.
