Etihad Airways to start Abu Dhabi - Singapore service

Etihad Airways announced today it will begin serving Abu Dhabi - Singapore direct three times-a-week from September utilizing a three cabin Airbus A330-200 offering a cargo capacity of 14 tonnes.
Singapore brings Etihad's destinations in South East Asia up to five, adding to Bangkok, Manila, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur, which was launched in January 2007.
In addition, Etihad Crystal Cargo is serving Zheng Zhou in China with an Airbus A300-600 freighter.
Des Vertannes, executive vice president cargo, Etihad Airways, commented that: "The new service will cater for the growing demand for air cargo services between the UAE and Singapore, which is growing year-on-year."
Full flight details and schedule for the new Singapore - Abu Dhabi service are expected to be confirmed soon following final discussions between Etihad and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore [CAAS]. |
