AMB to open sports merchandise logistics centre in Shenzhen

US logistics firm AMB has signed a letter of intent with Shenzhen Honbor Industrial to develop a sporting goods trading and logistics centre inside Shenzhen's Pinghu Logistics Park.

The proposed CNY878 million (US$115.67 million) logistics centre will provide product exhibition, cargo procurement, cargo storage, cargo transit, regional distribution, cargo processing and business information exchange services.



New York-listed AMB, with total assets of US$11 billion, owns 17 million square metres of warehousing space worldwide, and specialises in providing contract logistics and supply chain management services.
