RCL, Grand China Shipping enhance Thai, Viet, China Japan loop

Thailand's Regional Container Line (RCL) and Grand China Shipping (GCS) have enhanced their Thailand-Vietnam-China (RBC/EKX) joint service to Japan.
Additional calls at Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, Yokohama are included in their China-Japan service and the rotation is extended from three weeks to four, reports Paris-based Alphaliner. With GCS's chartered 990-TEU Warnow Carp added, both carriers currently deploy two 1,000-TEU vessels each.
The RBC/EKX service covers southeast Asian and Chinese ports related to Japan, calling at Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh City (Cat Lai), Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai, Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, Yokohama, Hong Kong and back to Laem Chabang, according to the Shipping Gazette.
