Independent Container Line (ICL) has selected GT Nexus to provide it with online booking services.
The deal means ICL will integrate its back-office systems with GT Nexus Trade and Logistics Portal to enable web-based paperless business transactions with shippers and forwarders.
GT Nexus claimed its portal allowed customers to join "quickly and cost effectively".
"Carriers only need to integrate with the GT Nexus portal once, and can then use that single standardised interface to exchange business information with thousands of global customers," it said.
