Kuehne + Nagel takes Porsche supplier of the year award
POSTED: 9:43 a.m. EDT, May 4,2007

Swiss logistics giant Kuehne + Nagel took the supplier award from Stuttgart-based carmaker Porsche at a recent ceremony in Leipzig.

Porsche said the factors in picking the winner was high reliability, outstanding quality, and a co-operative partnership - "criteria that the Kuehne + Nagel Group meets across the world".

"We are very proud of winning the Porsche 2007 Supplier Award," said Tim Scharwath, responsible for German Kuehne + Nagel's airfreight. "The accolade is a strong motivation and an incentive to continue to provide top levels of performance."

Kuehne + Nagel has been delivering Porsche spare parts to the US, Middle East and South Africa by airfreight. In special cases and for selected markets, Kuehne + Nagel manages the shipment of entire vehicles by air.
