Panama certified to inspect VN ships

Panama¨s Isthmus Bureau of Shipping (IBS) has been authorized to inspect and grant certificates for Vietnamese flag-carrying liners operating offshore from Central and South America, under a mandate signed in Mexico earlier this week. Viet Nam Registry Director Nguyen Van Ban said the mandate for the IBS, would facilitate the navigation of Vietnamese ships in the region.
