Pratt & Whitney to grow biz in India

The US-based aircraft engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney plans to double the $30- million value of its manufacturing and technology business in the country during the next few years, the company President, Mr Steve Finger, said on Tuesday.

^The company sees India as a key growth market. In the next three to five years the value of our manufacturing and technology business would more than double. At present, a majority of the value of India comes from information technology sector but in time to come we feel that the contribution of the aerospace business would increase, ̄ Mr Finger told presspersons.
