SAS commits to capacity at Arlanda
POSTED: 9:01 a.m. EDT, October 26,2007
SAS Cargo is building a new 15,000 m2 air cargo terminal at Arlanda Airport, Stockholm, to be ready in Spring 2010. The development is the result of a newly signed agreement between SAS Cargo subsidiary, Spirit Air Cargo Handling Sweden and Nordic Airport Properties.

The facility will double Spirit¨s capacity enabling it to handle up to 200,000 tonnes cargo annually.

^More than the increased capacity the new terminal will also live up to the increased demand from our customers regarding high security levels, high efficiency, product differentiation and high quality standards, ̄ says Anders Skantz, managing director, Spirit Air Cargo Handling, Sweden.
