| APL Logistics handles Marks & Sparks in Asia, Africa and Europe |

APL Logistics has been named Marks & Spencer's (M&S) international general merchandise supply chain management partner for South Asia, Europe and North Africa, reported UK Transport Intelligence.
M&S operates more than 520 stores in the UK and is the country's largest clothing retailer. APL Logistics provides M&S with a full suite of origin cargo management and international logistics services from South Asia, Europe and North Africa.
The supply chain management contract covers M&S' international general merchandise business in these regions and encompasses their extensive product range.
To ensure the delivery of products from multiple sources to holding centres in the UK, APL Logistics will provide a vendor management at origin, shipment consolidation, international transport management and handle UK import procedures. |
