Western Railway's suburban services were disrupted after an pver head equipment (OHE) broke down between Bandra and Mahim stations on Tuesday afternoon.
"The incident happened around 2pm on Borivali-bound slow line tracks. As a result, slow line services were diverted on fast line between these stations. WR personnel have rushed to the site to repair the problem," said WR spokesperson.
Services were running late by 15-20 minutes because of the problem. Crowds on the platforms at Dadar had swelled due to the late running of trains in Up and Down direction on fast as well as slow tracks.
