Amerijet International’s new coast-to-coast freight service operation is about to take off at Rickenbacker International Airport. Rickenbacker is one of two key air cargo hubs for this new efficient and cost-effective service.
"Amerijet’s dedicated B767 freighter service provides our customers with additional options for expedited and heavyweight domestic freight,” said Pam Rollins, Senior Vice President, Business Development for Amerijet. “This service is ideal for shipments moving on long-haul lanes over 1,500 miles, especially those in need of time-critical, high-value, temperature-controlled or hazardous material shipments.”
Rickenbacker’s location, within a one-day truck drive to nearly 50 percent of the U.S. population, makes it an ideal selection for this new service.
"Rickenbacker is well-equipped and perfectly positioned to meet Amerijet’s needs as a key hub for this service and we look forward to building a strong, successful partnership with them,” said Elaine Roberts, President & CEO of Columbus Regional Airport Authority, which operates Rickenbacker.
