Korean Air introduces ninth A380, Incheon-Atlanta service

South Korea's flagship airline Korean Air has introduced the ninth A380 aircraft to its fleet and makes its first flight to Atlanta from Incheon this week, according to Shipping Gazette.
Korean Air operates the A380 on Incheon-Los Angeles and Incheon-New York 14 flights a week each and Incheon-Paris seven flights a week.
Korean Air will finalise the delivery of its tenth A380 being delivered in July - three years after the first A380 was introduced into Korean Air service in June 2011.
Korean Air have selected the lowest configuration in 407 seats in a three-class layout with a double decker feature which allows for 12 ultra luxurious First Class Kosmo Suites and 301 Economy Class seats on the main lower deck only, and 94 fully flat-lying Prestige Sleeper seats in Prestige Class (business class) on the upper deck.
The ergonomically designed economy seats provide the utmost comfort to passengers on long haul flights.
Korean Air is the first A380 operator in Northeast Asia and the sixth operator worldwide. The A380 aircraft will boast inflight entertainment system AVOD on all seats and an onboard bar and lounge.
