Guangzhou, Oct. 17 (JCtrans) ---Compared with the last one, the import exhibition zone of the 102nd Canton Fair makes a great improvement either at the scale or at the structure, and provides a better platform for overseas buyers to enter the Chinese market. However, experts show that it still takes a long time for import exhibition zone to grow into an international one.

According to Wang Junwen, director general of China Foreign Trade Centre, the import exhibition zone has two features in the 102nd Canton Fair. The first one is that the zone is expanded by adding a new exhibition space for raw and processed materials. The second one is that the quality is improved by strengthening the checking of overseas attendees’ identities and exhibits’ certificate of origin.
