Toyota likely to manufacture small cars in India

India is likely to be the hub for Japanese major Toyota's small car manufacturing plants, Indian financial daily, The Economic Times, reported here Friday.

The newspaper says that Toyota's small cars are likely to be exported to markets like Brazil and some Asian nations.

Toyota is looking to improve its sales in Brazil, Russia, India and China.

The newspaper reported that the plant is likely to come up in South Indian city Bangalore with an investment of 500 million U.S. dollars.
