Poland's Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski said Tuesday that if the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) decided to hold early parliamentary elections, they would be probably held in mid-November.
Any constitutional date can be taken into account, the prime minister told reporters but stressed that there was no decision yet.
"But such decision is probable as I must say that the behavior of our coalition partners does not encourage us to continue the current model of cooperation," Polish PAP news agency quoted Kaczynski as saying.
Kaczynski said that the situation in the coalition following the crisis caused by Andrzej Lepper's dismissal is not enough to make it last. Coalition partners must meet many conditions to continue co-ruling with PiS, he added.
On July 9, Polish President Lech Kaczynski sacked leader of Polish junior coalition party Self-Defense Andrzej Lepper from the post of Deputy Prime Minister and Agriculture Minister over a corruption probe.
Lepper has protested and declared himself innocent, saying the probe into a major land deal that proved to be a sting operation by the anti-corruption police, was an attempt to remove him from politics.
On Monday, Lepper announced that Self-defense will stay in the government and form a new party with the other junior partner, League of Polish Families, to strengthen their position in the government.
