Russia, Lithuania to agree on coop in Baltic pollution struggle

The Russian government approved a draft agreement preliminarily worked out with the Lithuanian government regarding cooperation in the struggle with the Baltic Sea pollution by oil and other hazardous substances, the Russian governmental press service said.

The Russian government instructed the Transport Ministry to negotiate with Lithuania and upon reaching agreement sign an accord on behalf of the Russian government, Prime-Tass reported according to Itar-Tass.
