Russia's admission to WTO could exert an adverse impact on 22 regions of the country and be neutral or positive for 64 regions, director of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry's Trade Negotiations Department Maxim Medvedkov said speaking at the Audit Chamber Wednesday at a roundtable meeting devoted to the regional aspects of Russia's entry into WTO. "There are only 22 regions where higher imports after the country joins WTO could produce a negative impact on their regional markets"-he said.
