In January-September 2007, Ukraine increased metal export to Russia by 27.6%, year-on-year, to 2.388 million tonnes. According to Ukrainian Government, the share of Russia in export of Ukraine's metal goods grew from 7.9% to 10%, RBC reports. In money terms, sales of metal to Russia grew by 60.5% - to $1.639 billion, while their share in total sales grew from 10.7% to 13.4%. Russia holds the third place in terms of Ukrainian export of metal after EU and Turkey. In the reported period, metal deliveries from Ukraine to CIS countries (excluding RF) increased by 44.9% - to 1.417 million tonnes. In money terms, sales of metal to CIS climbed 96.8% - to $873.7 million.
