First Container Terminal (FCT, St. Petersburg) plans to raise its container throughput by 68.4% against plan for 2007 - to 1.6 million TEU per year, RBC reports quoting Egor Govorukhin, vice-President of National Container Company (owner of FCT) as saying at the IV international conference Freight-2007: Container Transportation in Russia and the Neighbouring States being held in St. Petersburg. Mr. Govorukhin also said this year the terminal is likely to handle 950,000 TEU, in 2008 - 1.1 million TEU, in 2009 - 1.4 million TEU.
First Container Terminal (FCT CJSC) is a specialized container terminal located at the port of St. Petersburg. It is managed by the National Container Company.
