Cargolux adds sixth flight to Mexico City
POSTED: 8:19 a.m. EDT, August 28,2007

Cargolux says it will add a sixth weekly flight to Mexico City's Juarez International Airport, from October 18.

The additional flight, CV 8644, will depart Luxembourg every Thursday.

The existing five weekly flights are operated out of Luxembourg on Monday afternoons, Wednesday and Saturday mornings, and there are two flights on Sundays, in the morning and the evening.

As Mexico's economy is growing so too is demand for services linking the two countries.

Commodities flown to Mexico include mostly general cargo, plus machinery, pharmaceuticals and textiles, while out of Mexico, mainly hi-tech items, automotive parts, vehicles, textiles and perishables are transported.
