EXPRESS and logistics company DHL has expanded its Asia Pacific Time Definite Delivery (TDD) service from Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East into the United States, the company announced from Singapore.
DHL customers in Asia Pacific can now ship into the US via the TDD network to and from 46 markets and 227 major cities. TDD services are offered by StartDay Express and MidDay Express, providing guaranteed door-to-door deliveries with the latest possible collection times for pre-9 am or pre-noon deliveries.
The offering from Asia Pacific to the US allows access to major business centres covering over 1,450 post codes in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York through the MidDay Express noon delivery service for non-declarable documents.
Launched in 2002, TDD has seen 50 per cent growth from 2005 to 2006 alone, said a company statement. The intra-Asia Pacific network spans over 70 cities in 17 countries.
