Russian Railways, JSC is examining the possibility of purchasing a branch line to the port Zhelezny Rog (Taman). This was announced by president of the company Vladimir Yakunin, reports Interfax.

He said that the deal might be closed in 2008.

It should be pointed out that the company plans to invest about 10 bn rubles in the named port.
