Russian Railways JSC has announced the plans to establish a joint venture with Ust-Luga Company JSC.

The new company will be names Port Ust-Luga Transportation Company and is aimed for serving the traffic via the port of Ust-Luga.

The issue is to be discussed at the Russian Railways Board meeting on February 16. Establishing the company is scheduled for March-April 2007.
