China Eastern starts Shanghai-Busan flights via town near North Korea

CHINA Eastern Airlines recently launched a chartered flight service from Shanghai to Busan via Yanji, a Chinese border town near North Korea, Logistics Week reported.
China Eastern operates three flights a week on the route on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the report said.
Flights depart Shanghai at 0720 hrs, arrive in Yanji at 1000 hrs and take off again at 1040 hrs, reaching Busan at 1500 hrs, the report said.
On the return leg, flights depart Busan at 1500 hrs and arrive in Yanji at 1620 hrs and in Shanghai at 1940 hrs.
To meet surging demand between Chengdu and Yunnan, China Eastern Airlines recently launched a new service linking Chengdu, Dali and Kunming.
China Eastern uses B737s for the three weekly flights on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Rotation of the service is: Kunming, Chengdu, Dali, Chengdu and Kunming.
