SAS announces new routes to Hamburg and Vilnius

SAS will be adding Hamburg and Vilnius as new destinations to its winter schedule at Oslo Airport. In addition, several of the airline’s existing popular routes will be expanded.
Starting October 26, 2014, passengers will be able to fly directly to Hamburg, Germany four times a week. A Christmas route to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, will open on December 19, 2014 with seven departures before the route closes for the season on January 5, 2015.
"We will now be offering even more direct routes to well-travelled Norwegians. Oslo Airport is one of SAS' main airports, and with the new routes and winter schedule we have presented today, we are pleased to enhance services from Oslo Airport even further,” says SAS spokesperson Tormod Sandstø.
Expanding popular routes to New York and beyond During the winter, SAS will add two additional weekly departures to their direct route between Oslo and New York. At the same time the following three routes: Oslo - Alanya, Oslo - Aberdeen and Oslo – Aalborg will become year-round services.
