BA doubles Heathrow - Pakistan flights

2007-11-2

British Airways is doubling its schedule between Islamabad and Heathrow to six flights a week this winter, in order to cater for the increased passenger demand between the two countries as the result of growing demand by both business and leisure travellers. The increased services took off this week as the airline launched its winter schedule.

The new schedule is being operated using Boeing 777s, increasing overall capacity over the previous schedule by 52%. The profitable premium - business and first class - capacity increased by 44%, with a slightly larger increase in economy seats. British Airways world cargo capacity from Islamabad will also increase by 100%.
