Brazilian airline Varig has launched daily flights from Heathrow to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
The flights leave Heathrow at 22:05 each night, making a connection at Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo before flying on to Rio de Janeiro's Tom Jobim International Airport, arriving at 10:00 the next day. The return flight leaves Rio at 20:30 (local time), stopping at Guarulhos before arriving at Heathrow at 15:00 (all times local). |
