COSCO Created New Record in Transporting Super Heavy Cargo
POSTED: 7:28 p.m. EDT, March 19,2007
On Mar. 13, COSCO Logistics created a new record in the road transportation history of China by successfully transporting two pieces of super heavy cargo-two hydrogenation reactors with a weight of 1466 tons and 1347 tons respectively. This new national record renovates the record of 1284-ton which was also created by COSCO Logistics in year 2004 on the CSPC Nanhai Petrochemical Project.

COSCO Logistics adopted Scheuerle Self-propelled trailers with 480 tyres in total. The transportation mission is aided with the Oversized Cargo RO/RO Operation Computer Auxiliary Decision System, which is developed by COSCO Logistics and passed the evaluation of Ministry of Communications of China.
