American Commercial Lines Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLI - News; "ACL" or the "Company") announced the creation of a new service recognition program to honor employees that have completed 5 to 40 years of service with the Company. A recognition banquet and formal ceremony were held in Louisville, Kentucky on February 3, 2007 at which more than 200 men and women who have been with ACL more than 20 years received their recognition awards. Another ceremony will be held on March 3, 2007 to recognize an additional 200 award recipients.
Ladies receive a ten link, fourteen carat gold two-toned bracelet with up to ten quarter carat diamonds depending on length of service. Men receive a fourteen carat gold ring with an ACL crest surrounded by up to thirty-one diamonds of approximately one carat total weight.
