New Nottingham Warehouse gives WT Sea-Air uk logistics focus

Leading independent integrated ?20m global logistics service provider, WT Sea-Air has increased its UK warehouse capacity by nearly 40% following the opening of a new dedicated facility in Nottingham.
Ideally located at the centre of the country, the new warehouse brings WT Sea-Air's UK warehouse capacity to over 300,000 sq ft. The new Midlands base provides cost effective national distribution throughout the UK for WT Sea-Air's 'blue chip' garment, footwear, DIY products, automotive, pharmaceutical, brown and white goods sector clients. And it complements WT Sea-Air's existing sites at Crayford, Mountnessing, Hayes, Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle.
The new 100,000 sq ft Nottingham operation is a key part of WT Sea-Air's growth strategy over the next few years. The leading independent global freight forwarder has recognised that as its clients require more added value logistics services in addition to its established reputation as a high quality global sea and airfreight forwarder.
The new warehouse is fully bonded with customs clearance available for full container loads down to individual picked items. It also allows for WT Sea-Air to provide more pre-retail work for its clients including a full quality control service, pick and pack, moving product from cartons to hanging, re-labelling for the UK market and other key pre-retail activities.
