Announcement No.59, 2007 of Ministry of Commerce

In accordance with related regulations of Circular on Regulating Automobile Export Order (No.629, 2006), Circular on Regulating Motorcycle Export Order (No.699, 2005) and Supplementary Circular on Regulation Motorcycle Export Order (No.44, 2006), Ministry of Commerce, National Development and Reform Commission, General Administration of Customs, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People¨s Republic of China properly adjusted List of Enterprises Qualified to Producing Automobile and Motorcycle and Authorized Export Operation Enterprises (Announcement No.15 and 16 of Ministry of Commerce, National Development and Reform Commission, General Administration of Customs, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and Certification and Accreditation Administration), which is now released.

If Enterprises want to export imported automobiles that are not originated from China, operators shall take customs documents of import and export contract to apply for export licensing, however, those enterprises will not be affected by export qualification restriction. The re-exported imported automobiles shall go through formalities of inspection and quarantine in line with related regulations. Enterprises exporting automobiles by means of project contract may apply for export licensing, and will not be affected by export qualification restriction.

This announcement shall take effect as from release.
