Standard Chartered Suzhou Branch Starts Yuan Services

Standard Chartered Bank (China) Ltd said its branch in Suzhou, in eastern China's Jiangsu province, will start local currency services from today.

In a statement, Standard Chartered said the branch will offer yuan banking services for corporations, local residents and foreigners.

Standard Chartered will provide yuan services to local customers in 12 branches and sub-branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Suzhou.
