This year, a total of 368,678 students in 1,186 exam centers across Nepal are sitting for the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations starting Wednesday morning at 7:30 local time (0145 GMT).

The Nepali Office of Examination Control said around 15,467 exam inspectors, 3,000 supervisors and 11,860 security personnel have been deployed to hold the 9-day examinations.

As per the government's decision, examinees will only face questions from syllabus of grade 10 this year. In the past, they faced questions from syllabus of grade 9 and 10.
