Crude oil closes at all-time high of $93.53 a barrel
POSTED: 11:40 a.m. EDT, October 30,2007

U.S. light, sweet crude rose for a fourth day and closed at a record high of 93.53 dollars a barrel on New York Mercantile Exchange on Monday.

The price rallied after bad weather forced Mexico to briefly halt one-fifth of its oil production, and the dollar touched the lowest level against the euro in more than eight years, analysts said.

The December crude oil futures reached a new intraday high of 93.80 dollars earlier.
