The Fourth International Meat Secretariat (IMS) World Pork Conference is held in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, on Sept. 16, 2007. Around 800 representatives from 38 countries and regions took part in the conference, opened on Sept. 16. It would discuss issues concerning pork production and its market, pork consumption trend, new technology and new products as well as global pork trade and policies.
