Police find 26 unidentified bodies in Baghdad
POSTED: 11:02 a.m. EDT, June 4,2007
Iraqi police found 26 bodies in execution-style in different parts of Baghdad on Saturday, an Interior Ministry source said.

"Our patrols collected 26 bodies during the past 24 hours indifferent parts of Baghdad," the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

The bodies were handcuffed, blindfolded and showing signs of torture with bullet holes in different parts of their bodies, he said.

The daily gruesome finding of unidentified corpses continued in the capital despite more than three months into U.S. and Iraqi security offensive designed to curtail sectarian violence.
