Shanghai to become new station of Air Ukraine
POSTED: 10:13 a.m. EDT, December 7,2006

Shanghai will become the new station for Air Ukraine, the national flag carrier.

Two nations exchanged opinions on increasing stations, frequencies and the flying rights during recent bilateral aviation negotiations.

China and Ukraine signed an aviation agreement in 1993. Air Ukraine now operates flights from Beijing to Kiev twice a week. Air Ukraine cargo company flight goes to Tianjin once a week.

Experts said the new Shanghai station will provide more choices for passenger travel.
