Bahri receives the fifth dry bulk carrier

Bahri (The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia)is pleased to announce the arrival of ‘Bahri Trader’ today, 31/03/2014, the latest vessel to be constructed and delivered by Oshima shipyard in Japan to Bahri Dry Bulk (BDB), a strategic business unit of Bahri.
This completes the new building order of 5 dry bulk ships contracted in 2012. Bahri Dry Bulk is a joint venture between Bahri (60%) and ARASCO (40%) the largest grain importer of KSA.
‘Bahri Trader’ with a capacity of 82,000 dead weight tons and length of 229 meters is part of BDB’s fleet of eco-friendly and fuel efficient vessels. This vessel has been chartered to ARASCO on a long-term basis similar to the other 4 sister ships. These vessels will serve the nations demand for grain imports from across the world.
