CMA CGM reshuffles services to West Africa

CMA CGM has reshuffled its services from Europe and Med to West Africa, which will allow the group to adapt to the market and serve the heart of Africa by through bill of lading (TBL) to landlocked countries.
As from mid-December 2013, the CMA CGM Group will deploy five services.
The PC Weekly Service, a direct loop from North Europe and Tangier to West Africa, which operates seven 3,500 TEU vessels, will have the insertion of UK and Nigeria in its rotation.
The rotation starts on December 13 with Violet from Dunkirk and is as follows: Dunkirk-Antwerp-Le Havre-Montoir-Tangier SB-Dakar-Abidjan SB-Lome-Tin Can, Lagos-Abidjan NB-Dakar-Tangier NB-Dunkirk.
The PC Center Service is a weekly and direct loop from North Europe and Tangier to West Africa, which operates five 2,500 TEU vessels. The first voyage will start December 14 with Hammonia Antofagasta, and the rotation is as follows: Tangier-Dakar-Conakry-Tema-Cotonou-Douala-Tangier.
The PC North Service is a weekly direct loop from North Europe and Tangier to West Africa, and operates four 1,600 TEU vessels. The first voyage is on December 13 with Spero and the rotation is as follows: Tangier-Nouakchott-Freetown-Monrovia-Banjul-Nouadhibou-Tangier.
The PC South Service is a weekly direct loop from North Europe and Tangier to West Africa, which remains unchanged and operates five 2,000 TEU vessels. The rotation is as follows: Tangier-Pointe Noire-Port Gentil–Libreville-Tangiers.
The Angola Shuttle Service ia nine-day frequency service from North Europe and Tangier to the Angola market, and operates five 2,000 TEU vessels. The rotation is as follows: Leixoes- Lisbon-Tangier-Luanda-Lobito-Namibe-Leixoes.
Tangiers will remain a significant hub with a seamless and efficient connection with CMA CGM long-haul services from Asia (FAL and MEX 3 services), from Middle East Gulf (EPIC service) and North America (Amerigo Express service).
