GAC Dubai has appointed Phil Showering as its new general manager for Logistics Services to lead its fast growing logistics business in the Emirate.
Mr Showering will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to all the departments under the logistics umbrella. Tasked with driving the business growth, he is expected to enhance overall operational efficiency and productivity through the adoption of progressive management techniques, a company statement said.
Mr Showering joins GAC with over 20 years of operational and management experience in the European logistics industry. He reports directly to GAC Dubai's managing director Dan Hjalmarsson.

GAC Logistics serves the worldwide needs of manufacturers, distributors and retailers, with particular emphasis on the fast moving consumer goods, textiles, pharmaceuticals, automotive parts, electronics, and the oil and gas sectors.
